Francesco Guarneri and Gianluigi Bertini founded Guber, whose initial mission was to assist the bankruptcy proceedings in the recovery of their debts, combining the collection activity with the delicate activity of credit assessment.

Guber extends its collaboration to industrial and commercial companies and defines an industrial model for managing the judicial recovery process which even nowadays represents one of its distinctive competencies and strengths.

Guber enters the banking sector, becoming a highly qualified servicer for both Italian credit institutions and international institutional investors, purchasers of securitized NPLs.

Guber applies for and obtains the CSS3+ / RSS3+ rating as a Special Servicer from Fitch Ratings.

Following the acquisition of a business unit from Citifinancial-Citicorp, Guber inaugurates its Milan office.

Guber applies for the rating as an ‘Special Servicer ABS. In January 2014, along with the assignment of the ‘ABSS2’ rating, the ‘CSS2’ and ‘RSS2’ ratings are also confirmed.

Guber obtains the ‘ABSS2+’ rating from Fitch Ratings. At the same time, the ‘RSS2+’ and ‘CSS2+’ ratings are also confirmed.

Guber Banca SpA receives authorization to conduct banking activities from the European Central Bank and officially announces the establishment of Guber Banca.

Guber Banca launches its second banking product: Anticipo102, the digital supply chain credit that helps support the liquidity of Italian production chains.

The rating further improves to CS1 –+/ RSS1 –/ ABSS1
