Our environmental commitment is rooted in the belief that everyday actions can have a profound impact on the world around us. To this end, we implement a variety of initiatives designed to reduce environmental impact and to increase community awareness.
Since 2020, we have undertaken the conversion of our corporate vehicle fleet, replacing existing vehicles with low-emission alternatives (mild hybrid, full hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric models). 92.11% of our vehicle fleet is hybrid-powered.
We participate in DHL’s GoGreen programme to make our courier shipments more sustainable. The project enables the calculation and offsetting of carbon dioxide emissions generated by shipments, and also allows investment in climate and environmental protection initiatives selected by DHL.
We respect the environment by using only energy from renewable sources — such as water, sunlight, wind and geothermal heat — in all our facilities. Our use of renewable energy is certified under the ‘Guarantees of Origin’ system managed by the Energy Services Operator (GSE), in compliance with Directive 2009/28/EC.
Our website promotes environmental awareness and inclusion through an automatic light/dark mode system, a standby screen, and an accessibility widget that improves content access for people with disabilities.
As a challenger bank, innovation is part of our DNA. It is thanks to this vocation that we are able to create a stimulating environment in which to develop new and original services designed to meet our clients’ needs.
Change begins with small actions. Through the gradual removal of personal printers and waste bins, combined with the redesign of our recycling stations and the digitalisation of our corporate books, we succeeded in reducing paper consumption by 52% over the two-year period from 2021 to 2023.
We have implemented several initiatives to reduce plastic consumption, gradually phasing out bottles, cups and other items in favour of solutions made from recycled and sustainable materials.
Since 2022, in collaboration with associations committed to environmental protection, we have organised a clean-up or park-litter day for employees and their families. An opportunity to come together and have fun while doing good for the community.

Our commitment to the environment begins with raising awareness among our colleagues. In collaboration with the Italian Banking Association (A.B.I.), we have launched a series of ESG training courses, totalling over 1,000 hours.
Corporate transport welfare – We have entered into corporate agreements with Brescia Trasporti S.p.A. (Municipality of Brescia) and Azienda Trasporti Milanesi S.p.A. (Municipality of Milan), enabling our employees to purchase annual or semi-annual local public transport passes at a discounted rate.
Sustainability is also a priority within our investment activities. We have acquired ESG bonds and invested in businesses active in the photovoltaic sector.
All our initiatives are presented in our Sustainability Report. A document that reflects our commitment to acting as a responsible bank, integrating economic performance with social and environmental responsibility.
